9.4.1-S56 breaks Horde and Squirrelmail

From inside a users cpanel accessing Horde I get this error:

Warning: main(): SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 32001 is not allowed to access /usr/lib/php/PEAR.php owned by uid 0 in /usr/local/cpanel/base/horde/lib/Registry.php on line 13

Warning: main(PEAR.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/cpanel/base/horde/lib/Registry.php on line 13

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'PEAR.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /usr/local/cpanel/base/horde/lib/Registry.php on line 13

Accessing Squirrelmail gives this error:

Error opening ../data/default_pref
Could not create initial preference file!
/home/acornsol/.sqmaildata should be writable by user acornsol
Please contact your system administrator and report this error.

However both Horde and Squirrelmail work correctly from https://domain.com:2096/

I have tried /scripts/makecpphp
and it doesn't fix it.

Anyone had a similiar problem?

That worked perfectly.

One more problem I noticed during nightly backups:

Copying proftpd file....Done
Copying www logs.............
Done
Grabbing mysql dbs.../usr/bin/mysqldump: Got error: 1049: Unknown database 'Warning! the mysql feature has been disabled!' when selecting the database
Done
Grabbing mysql privs...Done
Copying mailman lists....Done

Seems to only happen on Packages that have MySql disabled in the associated Feature list.

That definately helped my problems too. Had the exact same error as above but only had to touch the file to get it to work. *goes back to pet the file now* hehe

Yes, the touch works for horde. However, can your addon mailbox users login? Ours can not...Comes up with wrong user and pass. Neomail works fine

Have the same issue; the owner of the domain can log in fine, but the addon email accounts can only use NeoMail.

On a linux box try:
killall -9 imapd
/scripts/servicerst_imap

touch /var/cpanel/usecpphp
Then I tried to

/scripts/makecpphp

Then restarted IMAP.

Trying

/scripts/restartsrv_imap
You had a typo heh

Then restarted Cpanel

/etc/init.d/cpanel restart

How irritationg; I have followed all of thosesteps, and my addon email accounts are still unable to acess webmail. Both horde and squirrelmail say that it is a username/password problem, and again NeoMail works fine.

Different problem, that's why!
Do:
cp /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/imapd /usr/sbin
restart imap

to fix your problem.
