Accessing SpamBox folder in SquirrelMail

I am trying to access the mail tagged by SpamAssassin (that is sent to Spambox) using SquirrelMail.

I have been told to create a folder in SquirrelMail named "spam" , but I have done that and the spam is not routed there. I do not know where it is going.

When I use SpamAssassin to just label spam with the *******SPAM******* tag, that seems to work fine.

Can anyone tell me how to use the SpamBox feature with SquirrelMail in particular?

Make sure you have enabled the spam box in Cpanel.
Wait until you are sure some spam has come into your mailbox.
The Spam mailbox is not created until you enable it in Cpanel AND a spam message is received!

Then in Squirrel Mail
Folders
Scroll down to Unsubscribe/ Subscribe
Scroll down the list and subscribe to the "spam" folder
A "spam" folder is created for EACH mail account you create for your domain.

Would have three mailboxes named "spam" . You need to subscibe to and check mail in all three.
