Default Account Creation Status: Failed(please setup a nameserver)

    Hello,

We are trying to create a new account on our dedicated server with whm. We fill out the information:

    Code:
    Domain: exampledomain.co.uk
    Username: exampleuser
    Password:xxxxxx
    Email: me@exampledomain.co.uk
DNS settings: Use the nameservers specified at domain's registrar(ignore locally specified nameservers)

    Mail Settings: Automatically Detect Configuration.
When we attempt to create this account we receive the following error:
    Code:
    (prompt)Please setup a nameserver
Account Creation Status: Failed(please setup a nameserver)
    We are using cPanel 11.24.5-S38506 - WHM 11.24.2 - X 3.9
    CENTOS 5.4 i686 standard.

We have created account on this server before with no problem but now we are getting this error.

We have disabled any nameserver software in nameserver selection, and we choose the use nameservers at registrar option so we should be able to create this account. Any of you lovely chaps have any ideas?

EDIT: We have set up nameservers at the registrar that the host can resolve that are not on our server. When I check use the nameservers at the registrar it returns the NS values in the registrar.

    Hello,

You tell cPanel to use the nameservers specified at domain's registrar and your domain doesn't have nameservers specified on it. Because of this you see this message, If you would like to create an account by this method then you must register the domain then add the nameserver on your domain registrars and after that Create the account.

We have specified nameservers at the registrar. The host has given us nameservers that they can resolve and we simply add A entries etc through the hosts user control panel.

These name servers are the same we used when creating previous accounts, and continue to work fine. When I click use the nameservers specified at the registrar it finds and returns the nameservers used which are correct.

The name server check appears erroneous in this context. I've opened an inquiry regarding how this should behave. Thank you for your report.
