Account transfer - addon domain problems

Hopefully someone can help me out with this account transfer/addon domain problem.

OK here is what I did:

I had an account with 3 addon domains setup on server A.

I wanted the addon domains on server B so I setup 3 user accounts, one for each. I manually copied the addon subdirectories from server A to B and changed the nameserver info at the registrar. Everything was working perfectly.

NOTE: I did not remove the addon domain info from server A after I moved them. There were no problems so I didn't think this would be a problem.

I then decided to use the WHM account transfer feature to transfer the main account that originally contained these addon domains from server A to B.

The transfer seems to have went properly with no warning/error messages. I did get messages about addon domains being transferred.

My problem is that after the transfer and nameserver propagation for the main account, the addon domain names resolve to the old server A IP address. They were resolving to server B prior to the main account transfer.

What files should I check on server B to see why this is occuring and hopefully fix the problem?

PS - I assume that in the future it would be best to transfer the addon domains as I did but then remove them prior to the main account transfer.

As a follow up:

I ended up terminating and restoring the three accounts from backup and that fixed my problem.
