Exclamation Account Transfers not restoring all MySQL tables .....

    Hi,

We run hundreds of reseller accounts across a number of servers and, as such, are frequently using the 'transfer multiple accounts' feature to migrate accounts between servers.

This week, during a major migration (decommissioning a server with hundreds of accounts) we have discovered that many of the sites are missing tables from their MySQL databases after the transfers.

Does anyone know if this is a known bug in a recent update, since we have never had this problem before and we cannot possibly export and import all the missing tables manually .. we really need to find a solution to this issue as soon as possible ... any thoughts would be welcome ....

The destination server is running WHM 11.15.0 cPanel 11.18.3-R21703, FEDORA 7 i686.

    Thanks,

Yep, mySQL dumps are broken with comments and wrong line breaks, so basically fixing this in editor and redumping in fixes.

Horrible, STABLE should be well tested which obviously wasn't done properly.

Agreed and if a bad bug is introduced then patch it! It's been like this since most likely the 10th when cPanel released 21703 which was introduced to every version. So we're going on 2 weeks with it not fixed. If you want to count when the bug was reported then we're talking about almost 2 weeks...

We're experiencing a similar issue, where we were doing all our account transfers via SSH (/scripts/pkgacct & /scripts/restorepkg). Not a single site with a database worked properly, and we're trying to get things corrected now.

The bug report explains how to fix it. So easiest way is to just fix it yourself then run pkgacct again and the mysql databases should be fine.

This issue has been addressed in all builds
without publishing new builds. On systems set to update automatically,
they will receive this fix during upcp.

Otherwise you can simply run '/scripts/upcp --force' manually.

    Both servers involved are running WHM 11.15.0 cPanel 11.18.3-S21703 w/CENTOS Enterprise 4.6 i686 on standard - WHM X v3.1.0.

I've tried copying the same accounts via the WHM transfer feature, and still no luck with this. I have an open ticket with support, but no progress with getting things working yet.
