Default Add ftp account to new customer account

    Hello,

My name is Patrick, I work for a web hosting company. Recently, we just bought some new Unix Apache servers with (CPANEL-WHM) installed on each it.

Over the last few weeks, we runs over few tweaking tests. The question I have is related to the (new account creation script), I am trying to add some FTP access to my new customer.

Additionnally, does it a way to translate this script text into a nice HTML welcome customer package ?????? or maybe export this to Our billing system like MODERNBILL.

All cPanel users automatically have FTP access. Their login credentials are:

    server: their domain
    user: their cPanel username
    pass: their cPanel password

This is also available in the FTP Accounts screen if they click on Configure FTP Client.

Usually billing automation tools don't need to read that text, they work directly with our APIs and retrieve that information directly. Building a tool that parses text to gather information (rather than use APIs) is a bad idea and will ultimately generate unreliability in your scripts.

If you are building a custom billing solution, the folks over in the Developer Discussions section of the forum can assist you. If you are using a pre-built billing automation solution, contact the manufacturer of the billing solution for further assistance.
