Let's say our host name is server & the domain our server is setup on is domain.com.
We upgraded to RH 9 from 7.3 about 2 weeks ago & now we have no "A" record on server.domain.com Now we can access the url via http://server.domain.com so I assume that it is just missing an "A" record.
This poses a problem with our SSL cert that WebMail uses. How do I add an "A" record to server.domain.com?
2 days ago I went into WHM, then DNS Functions, then Add an A Entry for your Hostname. All the below was right so I clicked on "Add the entry". What else do I have to do?
Found your hostname to be: server.domain.com
Found your short hostname to be: server
Found your domain name to be: domain.com
Found your main ip to be: 000.000.000.000
If this looks correct,
Add the entry
Under Edit DNS Zone there is no server.domain.com record but under domain.com there is a server server "A" record. What else do I have to do?
