Adding forwarder users to a domain from a script?

I have looked thorugh the /scripts directory, but I am unsure how much of what's in there is actually good stuff vs cruft that's left over...

I am relatively new to cpanel/whm, although getting more familiar with it all the time, however, I
don't watn to break my current install, so I am hesitant to go flailing around.

Is there a way to add forwarders via a script? I have a client with about 400 forwarding addresses all set up in an excel spreadsheet, I want to add all them via script rather than 2 weeks of typing/double-checking.

Is there a tool there I can do this with? LIke "addforwarder alias@domain.com receiver@newdomain.com"?

Thanks in advance

you will have to script it manually. i have never come across such a script provided by cpanel.

Well, the HTML form must call something that does it, I just haven't divined how it all works.

I think if you put entry in the /etc/valaises/domain.com then it will work.
But you have give entry sepetrly as per domain,
try with one domain if it work then use for others.

It does work that way, but with proper spelling.

Just add a forwarder to the /etc/valiases/domain.com file(s)

They can be easily formatted properly in excell so you would just copy and paste the entry.
One forwarder per line. If forwarding to multiple addresses, seperate them with commas.
