Default Adding NS to DNS record

    Hi,

I have a domain that has been moved from Plesk.

The client has 3 NS records in there - all pointing at an external DNS site

    email.domain.co.uk. NS ns0.dnssite.com.
    email.domain.co.uk. NS ns1.dnssite.com.
    email.domain.co.uk. NS ns2.dnssite.com.

How can I add these to the DNS record of the domain.

I have searched, but drawn a blank.

    Thanks.

If you have access to the DNS zone via WHM, you would do:

WHM > DNS Functions > Edit DNS Zone and add the records there. NS is an option in the dropdown for the DNS zone records in WHM.

    Hi, I have similar question:
I transferred client site to my new dedicated server where I have set my own nameservers. I accidentally set up this one site using current nameservers and not my own, so it copied those from registrant.

When I compare that site to others sites in the WHM > DNS Functions > Edit DNS Zone, it seems that there are only few places that I should need to edit to set my own nameservers, is this correct? This site used to have 3 dns settings, how can I remove that third one, since I have only 2 nameservers? Is that the only place where I need to edit dns settings?

Of course easy would be just delete that site and re-create it again with correct dns, but there was a lot of emails transferred and I would not like to do that all again.

You should be able to wipe out the third NS entry by removing the contents for each of the boxes in WHM > Edit DNS Zone area for that domain. By removing the data in that way, it should save the zone without that NS entry in it any longer.
