Additional FTP Users without @Domain Using PureFTP

Hi Everyone,

Just spent an hour searching through previous threads but cant seem to find a solution to this one.

I am using CPANEL with WHM, I have an addon domain under an account that needs an ftp user without the @domain part (because the @domain reveals the main accounts domain which cant be revealed for what i'm using it for)

Does anyone know where PUREftp keeps the user list or how to do this? I found the proftp user file but it seems pure uses a separate one, because when I edited it the user I thought I edited didn't change.

I am looking to do the same, i.e. create an account for ftp, without @domain part in the ftp user id. Is it possible to do this via cpanel? If not from cpanel, can I change it later via ssh? I have full root access to the system.
