Addon domains not working

I dont know why but i have cpanel 11.4.11 and if you add a "add-on" domain it accepts everything is fine but it doesnt show underneath as an add-on . and when i go back to the main menu, no add-on is listed on the side bar..
I goto emails to set an email account and its in the select bar..

Weird.. any ideas?

You stated that "if you add a "add-on" domain it accepts everything is fine but it doesnt show underneath as an add-on." So, problem is not in adding the Add-on domain, Problem is only the created add-on is not listing in cpanel, am I right?.

Let me know whether the created add-on is working properly, such as Its pointing to the sub directory without any problem?
