    Default AIM Info in WHM

Hello everyone. I created an AIM screen name for my hosting company and put it into WHM with the username and password where it said that it would use it to send out alerts.

How do I enable this feature, and what exactly does it do?

    Thanks

    -Mark

Make an AIM account for your server.

    enter the details into WHM.

Then in the bit where it says:

    Server Contact AIM:

put your normal AIM name (if you have one).

Then you'll get AIM messages when new accounts are added, for problems etc etc.

Oh, I thought it was something where like clients could send a message to that AIM account and it would like send a response back. Like if there were outages or problems.

That feature that you desicribed looks useful as well.

    Thanks
