Exclamation all addon domains is parked domains.. (Ea3)

Hi..

we have updated to use ea3 on our release system

first of all I tried to do a 1:1 update, useing apache 1.3, but for some reason, it kept crashing (signal 11) when started/configtest

we did go with the update to apache 2.. oh boy..

right now one of our customers addon domains is working.. they are all listed as addon domains AND parked domains. Result, none of the addon domains are working.

I have searched the forum and found
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/userdata_update --unpark-addons
/scripts/rebuildhttpdconf

but that do not fix the problem

when a user is logged into the cpanel interface, it still shows the domains listed on both pages, and it is not working yet...

I have created an ticket a few hours ago (218718).. no answer yet, my customers is tailing me down with snipers, so i did go for this forum post in hope of solutions..

info:
WHM 11.11.0 cPanel 11.15.0-R17665
FREEBSD 6.2-RELEASE-p8 amd64 on standard - WHM X v3.1.0

looking forward for smart solutions..

I also have a same problem after Apache upgrade, but only on one server, where are installed php4 & php5 together. On other server with only php5, there is no such problem. Also I should mention that both servers have Apache 1.3, so that problem obviosly is not related to Apache version.

Can you please post a solution when you get some answer from support.

there is no solutions.

the problem came when I bumped back to stabel.. and from there up to current

My datafiles was fucked up, and cpanel staff could not recreate the data from the setup files

There seems to be a connection to what /cpanel theme you are useing, and for the fact if your users use the same path for more than one addon domain.

I had to manually edit /var/cpanel/userdata files (I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS!). If you fumbles, your customers is gone..

What you need to do:
Force all user to use x3 theme!
When you find a user with the problem, delete the addon/parked domain.
readd it from x3 theme... everything is back to normal

I have 500 users... not 5000 or 50000.. thank god.

makeing an addon domain take ages.. like.. 45-60 seconds.. anyone got an input on that?

it does not work, since the background datafiles tells it's a parked domain, so that would not help you
