    Default All MySQL databases disapeared

    Please help me out here.

Suddenly all the databases on this server cannot be found.
All customers that have forums or and DB based websites are getting a message that the database cannot be found!

I have just upgraded to the Current release yesterday, would this be the reason?

What can I do to fix this problem?

    reset the root mysql password

    check tmp has

    mysql.sock@

    which is symlinked to

    mysql.sock -> /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock=

    restart mysql server

I have restarted MySQL and it didn't help.

It shows as up in the WHM status, however eximstats is showing down and it keeps restarting.

HostCP3: I think it is mysql.sock as you mentioned because the error messages has the following:
Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)

Please explain to me how I can fix it (in a simple SSH orders form please)

    Thank you

it seems to be back up now. I have opened a ticket and Burst seems to have fixed it.
No reply from them yet to tell me what it was.

Thank you guys, that is the spirit

    And excuse my panic attack
