Allow Sharing Nameserver Ips

In the WHM under Tweak settings there is an option:

Allow Sharing Nameserver Ips

Did this option mean that i can run 2 nameservers on 1 ip?

Like:

ns1.domain.com at 1.1.1.2
ns1.seconddomain at 1.1.1.2

Note, in some countries (e.g. the US), servers may only be allocated a single IP address and the practice of multiple nameservers on the same server and even the same IP is considered acceptable. Of course, this doesn't mean this is ideal practice.

I did not think that this setup would be acceptable practice for production.
Why use two nameservers on the same ip on the same server?
I don't get it.
