Anyone have this issue happen? I did a search in the forums but most of them relate to other scenarios.
It should be vixicron, not anacron. Anyway, try running logrotate in verbose mode to find out which postrotate it doesn't like:
/usr/sbin/logrotate -vf /etc/logrotate.conf
