Anti virus ?

Is there any software with cpanel for mail and file transfer?
Or we need to install the anti virus software our self?

I have tried to install mail scanner provided by cpanel but all the mail won't be receive or send out.So is there anyone success on installing them?Can list out the step on what i need to do?

I am not sure why your second question starts with "or". The answer to both questions is yes.

A number of people are running mailscanner on cpanel servers (I am not one of them).

You need to grab the files from cpanel and install them on your server. Run the following as root

wget http://layer1.cpanel.net/mailscanner...all-1.5.tar.gz
tar -zxvf mailscanner-autoinstall-1.5.tar.gz
cd mailscanner-autoinstall-1.5
./install

If you already have it installed (or once you have it installed), there is a HOW-TO on the cpanelfaq.com site explaining how to upgrade your install to a more recent version

why not use the pro addons?

If you log into WHM, under the cpanel heading you can install the "clamavconnector" which will be updated when required along with cpanel. You may need to license the IP for cpanel pro ( Which is free ) and install that as well to be able to use the cpanel issued AV system.
