Default Any one seen this ssl error

Trying to create an ssl cert and get this (self signed to test first)
(I am using a dedicated IP

    Attempting to verify your certificate.....
    Cerificate appears to be intact
    /usr/share/ssl/certs/********.com.crt.test: /C=US/ST=*****/L=******/O=******
    ***/OU=***/CN=***.com/Email=**8@**.***
error 18 at 0 depth lookup:self signed certificate
    OK

The CRT for the domain *****.com could not be installed.
    Apache produced the following errors:

    Finished Install Process..

Trouble is what errors, none listed here?
    Checked logs,nothing
The crt and key are there..
Hit it via browser and get page not found
What should if anything be written to that sites httpd.conf entries?
I checked there and there is no change that I could see anyway

I can however change and manage the crt for WHM/CPL without any incident..

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks

I get exactly the error today. The server only have a few accounts, none using SSL.

All was fine (I think) until today: When I got the server two weeks ago, I managed to install a self-signed certificate wthout error. Today I tried easyapache (with SSL support) and therefter Apache would not start again - gave an error relating to SSLENABLE called by a missing module. After manual removal of the SSL host (with self-signed cert) from httpd.conf, I could restart Apache again.

And now I cannot reinstall the self-signed certicate again. The errors are identical to that if ricu5.

I have tried everything I know and related advice in these forums. Any help will be welcome.

    OK, more info:

    * Doing Install an SSL Certificate and Setup the Domain in WHM gives the Apache error (or lack of) above.
    * A file httpd.conf.installssl-ssldomainname.com exisits with the required <IfDefine SSL> directive
    * Copying this file to httpd.conf and starting Apache again gives what I think is the real error:

Syntax error on line 1596 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf:
Invalid command 'SSLEnable', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration
/etc/init.d/httpd start: httpd could not be started
So is my SSL broken? What checks can I do?

    Thanks for any advice

I am still suck with this problem. Unable to add any SSL certs at all. If I add them manually into httpd.conf, Apache won't start

My ticket has been responded to, but that's several days ago and without a solution

Please don't dig up 2 year old threads when you've already just posted the exact same thing to a more recent one.
