Default Any way to create another user who has access to an existing user's CPanel?

We have clients who want to setup multiple username/passwords to have access to CPanel for their account. Is there any way to do this currently?

    Thanks - Brian

    nope.

Anyway since we are talking here about accounts that have full access to cpanel there is only really need for one.

Just share the master pw. What good would a second master pw do?

A second user would be good for a author of the web site, or if you let someone fix something on your site/cpanel that is not you host you dont have to change your master password, just the second users password.

Question Another Reason for a Second (or third...) user:

It would be nice to have the ability to set up a separate user that can access, for example, their site's statistics. I have a couple of clients who constantly are on mye about stats, but they know absolutely nothing about site setup or maintenance, so I do NOT want them messing with anything that could "crash" their sites, yet would like to be able to let them view their stats (Analog, Awstats, Webalizer) without bugging me. Any way to set that up?

I would also like the same feature, for exactly the same reasons. I have gven some users access to their control panels under penalty of death if they touch anything but the stats.

What I did as a stop-gap measure, was build them a separate control panel with links directly to the AWstats and email account sections. The only problem with this is that the email account section has back buttons where the nosey can start to mess around and get lost.

I think that this feature would be a good addtion to cPanel and increase it's usefulness for a lot of people.

You can setup stats outside of cPanel. You could also clone a theme and make a limited hybrid of email and stats functions for your users. I have done this and it makes people happy. Then when you need the control panel just modify the account back to a full version cpanel.

    That is the roundabout way.
