Anyone else want option to disable mailman?

I've put in a feature request to be able to disable mailman entirely from within WHM.

If a few other people do the same it might happen.

Just click support in WHM and then the contact form. Make the subject "Feature Request" and place in the body "I want the option to disable mailman". Send.

The more people that do this the quicker it will happen.

Nobody on my server uses it - in fact it's not even an option. Therefore a waste of resources to have it functional. Other admins who don't use it, may want to disable it too.

Most of our 'mailman users' are actually just people who logged in, created a list, fiddled with it for a while, and then just installed something simpler like mojomail.

(shrugs)

There's gotta be some way to kill it though, right?

same here!

not one customer uses this "mailman"

would be nice to disable the entire thing through " Service Manager "

feature manager does not shut down "mailman" it only keeps people from entering through cpanel. Not to mention this feature manager is still in BETA and can only be used with certain skins.

We would like to shut down the services all together so that way when you restart cpanel the "mailman" does not restart with it after you had disabled it. This feature would be an excellent one and could save on resources as well
