Default Anyone planning on attending the cPanel seminar

Anyone planning on attending this years cPanel seminar in TX?

We are considering it but would like some feedback from those who attended last year and what those who are attending this year are looking forward to.

    Thoughts? Comments?

    Thanks.

sounds like this is not a popular or worthwhile event otherwise I'd figure there would be imput on the subject....guess I'll be skipping this one.

    Thumbs up

I wouldn't base no replies on the popularity of this. There were quite a few there last year, myself included. Had a great time. Met some great people. Ate way too much food and enjoyed it quite a bit.

Meeting the guys from cPanel was worth the trip.

I'm hoping to get there again this year too. if you can, go.

I think that anytime a business owner has so much depending on one particular product that they should go out of their way to establish more personal and up close relationships with those that make the product.

    In this case: cPanel

We run 20 servers with cPanel licenses and obviously we have alot riding on the relationship.

After saying all that I don't know if I will be able to attend, this year. I will if my schedule permits.

I'd recommend going, this year is better planned this last year, and with the advent of cPanel 11 there is a lot of new things to discuss. We are basically running this for free, the registration fee is mostly to prevent people from no-showing.

PS> me too on the food ... was so gooood though

i went last year ..had a blast ..got to go annoy (in person) all the cpanel people I have known for years and years! Finally!! but man....It was a blast!!! ... learned some things ..met tons of people. Never seen or had so much killer free food and endless supply of booze in front of me since high school. It was NOTHING like I expected. Nick and the guys put on a first class spread for everyone. If you didn't go last year ..you should go!!! if you went last year like me then I don't need to say more do i? except see you on the roof!!!

in that thread there is this picture:
    http://forums.cpanel.net/attachment....4&d=1149780273

I took 100 pictures and have seen another 100 others took and to this day I have not seen one with me in that room until now. Sure enough there I am sitting at the closest table to the camera in the left chair. Now I can show this to my wife and prove that even though I flew home with a hang over and recovered for another 3 days afterwards I WAS for sure in at least one of the training events while I was there. I don't remeber it ..but this picture proves it !!! LOL

Haha nice one, sounds like a blast.

I'd go to meet some folks and enjoy some conversation but the event itself doesn't have much to offer me except alcohol and food Flying down from Canada is a bit of a ways.

I might hit HostingCon instead though.

    Cheers

Oh I'm not saying that the overall seminar wouldn't have its benefits, such as meeting and such. I'm saying the content of the actual seminar isn't offering me enough to make the trip.

Well I have registered for the conference and purchased my flight as well.

Got a killer deal on the flight from Kansas City to IAH roundtrip with taxes for $170!!

See you all there...would be nice if others would post if they will be there to put faces with names.
