Apache 2.2 PHP5 Out of Memory

Hello,

One of my users is reporting problems running Gallery2 on my machine. I started looking at it and its giving me a hard time.

I have Aapche 2.2+PHP5 running with suphp and Apache suexec. When trying to update repositories in Gallery2 it just hangs and it logs an error:

Code:
[13-Jul-2009 16:38:59] PHP Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 10223616) (tried to allocate 311296 bytes) in /home/paardver/g2data/smarty/templates_c/%%1141954920/matrix/%%26^261^2615E4E5%%AdminPlugins.tpl.php on line 270
My machine has plenty of free RAM (250MB+) and it always stops at the same point (10223616). I already looked at the users ulimit, the PHP memory limit is set at 128M and still gives me the same error. Also tried recompiling php latest version with apache 2.2 same problem. When I try disabling suphp/suexec it does not give any errors and everything works correct.

I do would like to use suphp. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thank you, the problem seems to be the RLimit being to low. suphp seems to generate alot of overhead. I increased the Rlimit and everything works like a charm!
