Apache 2 (information please)

I know there are old threads on this, but to be fair I'd rather keep this one separate, those are some months old and the comments there are possibly not valid anymore...

Do DarkOrb have any plans to include Apache 2 in cpanel in the near future?

I'm not looking for a date or screaming to get it - it would just be nice to know if plans are 'in the pipeline' so to speak about including it at a later date...and possible how far advanced things are right now.

Will be great to use when the perchild MPM is stable enough - I don't know if it's stable as of now.

Things like php and frontpage just aren't stable enough to use apache 2 yet. When they both are we can move to it ASAP.

I think since apache have stoped the production of apache 2, this will give people like php, etc. a chance to catch up and might speed up our chances of getting it much sooner than later.

There are lots of new features in Apache 2. One of my favorites is built in WebDAV support.

What Apache 2 features are you looking forward to and how well do you think CPanel will support them?
