    Default apache configuration files

    Hi all,

I have been currently working on impimenting additional services to my cpanel box but i have noticed that whenever i add a new domain via cpanel it removes ALL changes i make to the config, and thus breaking some sites and services in the process.

I have setup and installed apache2 on seperate machines in the past with the ability of including all of the virtual host config files seperately.

This would be a huge help and increase the flexibility of apache.

It would also reduce the size of httpd.conf dramatically.

Also apache 2 allows for all of its modules to be "included" from external files allowing again for more flexibility in what we choose to ADD to the server and what we choose not to add.

If this is classed as an enhancement i will add it to bugzilla and would request votes to have this implimented asap.

In addition to that does anyone know if apache2 is compiled with --without-ipv6 or --with-ipv6?

    TIA

Regarding running multiple Apache servers, that would be part of our existing Clustering meta-request in Bugzilla.

As for customizing vhost entries, I recommend you read the documentation on EasyApache 3 so you can learn how to do that in a way that will not be overwritten:
