    /etc/init.d/httpd restart: httpd started

    /etc/httpd/etc/httpd.conf is empty also

I ran /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf and it did not fix it

I recompiled again and it wiped out my httpd.conf file AGAIN.

This is about the 7th time I've recompiled this stupid cpanel system to no avail.

    During /scripts/easyapache (#8) compile I got this:

I did configure file rollback for httpd.conf

    Apache status in whm shows
Unable to retrieve apache status [a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]

Restart via whm shows failed again

    Please give me a lift

Recompiling apache is wiping out my httpd.conf

    /scripts/rebuildhttpd.conf
does not restore the virtual hosts either

    Configure rollback is screwed up.

From my past experience you have to remove/rename httpd.conf before you use /scripts/rebuildhttpd.conf this should then create a new file.

Not had a problem that needed the use of /scripts/rebuildhttpd.conf for a couple of years but at the time thats what I had to do to rebuild it.

Maybe try going into 'Config Rollback', copy one of the good configurations and pasting it directly into httpd.conf.
