Default apache failing to restart in WHM?

I am finding that whenyou try to restart apache apache in WHM it wont, keeps saying its failed. Even if you try to restart when its running it returns a failed message and then stops it.

If I run /etc/init.d/httpd restart it runs fine.

Anyone any ideas why this is?

    Cheers.

    Default

It means you've not setup an SSL entry in the httpd.conf correctly.

Run "/etc/init.d/httpd configtest" and see what error message it turns up. Reason that apache doesn't restart in WHM is because it uses "/etc/init.d/httpd startssl" - the command you're using doesn't initiate apache with SSL.
