Default Apache install directory and user

    Hi

I'm trying to install a peice of software and as my linux knowledge is very little i'm following a tutorial and using SSH.

But i'm stuck at two points

    1. directory Apache installed
    2. User Apache runs under.

It's a dedicated server but i have made no changes, so is default Cpanel installtion on CentOS 4.6

So any help how i might find out the details either via Cpanel / WHM or SSH or even where Cpanel might install by default as at moment totally lost.

Thanks for any help in advance

    Nadeem

    Default

    1. /usr/local/apache
    2. the main apache processes run as nobody, if you have suphp installed and suexec on, scripts run as their owner - if you dont then they run as nobody
