    Default apache messed up.. Please help...

    Hello Apache,

    Apache dies after every few seconds. Followinf error is been log in the log file.

    netstat -anp | grep 443
    tcp 0 0 65.60.37.176:80 218.104.129.24:46443 SYN_RECV -
    tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:443 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 5462/httpd

    Please help...

    Also as sson as apache is started it reaches to its maxclient in few seconds.

    You've got a good start on your troubleshooting and now you need to dig deeper.

    tcp 0 0 65.60.37.176:80 218.104.129.24:46443 SYN_RECV -

    That could be part of your problem, but you will need to use TOP & ps -xla (see the process number so you can kill it) to find out more. Could be you've got a runaway script or .htaccess file creating and endless loop. Could be other things also (Spammer sending out, DDoS attack), but the above would be a good starting point.
