Apache restarting without any reason

Hi

On one of our servers Apache is restarting maybe 5 times a day. Most of the time it's starting automaticaly but sometimes not.

There is no error message in the apache error_log file. Also the syntax of the httpd.conf file is ok.

I recompiled Apache and PHP already many times, also there, no error messages.

What else could be the problem?

With a problem like that, it is very difficult to say. I suggest you hire a sys admin to look into this problem.
