I have tried everything I can think of including downloading and reinstalling cpanel itself.

Of course I tried just about every option that script offers by now. Things worked great until a few hours ago it goes down on a routine restart of apache.
the httpd, httpd.worker, and apachectl binaries are no where to be found. I lfed them to locate and to find / and turned up nothing. wince locate didnt have record of them those files haveb een gone a while now.
any ideas?
