    Default apache2 errors in cpanel update

    hey all not sure whats going on here each time cpanel update starts crashes the cpanel server.


    this is whats doing it in the log

    Preparing Installing /var/spool/up2date/httpd-2.0.46-56.ent.i386.rpm... There was a fatal RPM install error. The message was: There was a rpm unpack error installing the package: httpd-2.0.46-56.ent

    whats the hell....

    cpanel using apache2.x ?


    please advise if anyone knows whats going on

    Nothing at all to do with cPanel. That means you haven't configured up2date correctly on the server. You need to set the up2date pkgSkipList to something akin to:

    kernel*;php*;httpd*;perl*;mysql*;mod_ssl*;imap*;squirrelmail*;spamassassin*;caching-nameserver*;courier*;
