    Angry APF not working :-(

I just downloaded and installed APF, but have had to prevent it from loading on startup.

When I try to run it from the SSH commandline, I get:
    Code:
Development mode enabled!; firewall will flush every 5 minutes.

At that point, the server basically bans all IPs, including mine, and I am disconnected. Good job APF is in devel mode, and after 5 mins it terminates itself and I can connect again. Obviously, though, there is a problem with iptables and those error messages are notoriously cryptic. :-( Could anyone give me some idea of where to go from here to get APF working?

That shows that your VPS provider has not included all the iptables modules required to use an SPI firewall - you'll have to contact them to have them do that, if they're willing.

If they're not willing, then you'll have to look for a static firewall iptables script.
