Default Apply ACL to all Resellers

    Hello,

We have a server that has 60 or so reseller accounts on it, and sometimes we tweak things here and there in a reseller ACL list. This becomes quite a chore when we have to then apply the new ACL to each reseller account individually. Is there a way to apply an ACL list to all resellers at once? That would make things a whole lot easier..

    Thanks.

You should submit this into the development system as a feature request, and in a few years they might add it.

I agree, though, that this would be a terrific feature. In fact, it would be nice to have a "reseller package manager", where we could set all reseller-specific settings such as disk/bw allowance, number of domains, as well as the ACL list, etc.

Such a "reseller package manager" would be very useful. Just like the existing WHM package system now. (To use when creating new accounts, upgrading, etc...)

Once you submit the request, be sure to post the link here so we can all go and vote for it.

Why do I have to? Then I have to argue with them for the next few years to add it...

Seriously though I'll submit it if it isn't already there and post here later...

I would submit it as a feature request myself, but honestly... I don't think it makes a difference. The cpanel developer(s) seem to have zero rhyme or reason to what they choose to implement as new features.

Because hey.. didn't we all go scream and beg them for "add-ons". lol.

If cpanel is ever gets serious about prioritizing their new features according to actual customer needs and desires... then I'll start submitting again.
