Yep we've had a number new problems within the last 24 hours since doing the security and latest release update.

Complety trashed dns files on one server, just happens to be the master cluseter server (still not fixed), crashed WHM and POP email on 3 other servers.

We've also gotten message from 2 other servers saying there are no longer A record for those servers.

Done all the:
/scripts/updatenow
/scripts/upcp
service cpanel restart

and 2 reboots still no luck.

If this get's much worst I'll think I'm dealing with a Cobalt.

after running the suggested upgrade we can no longer get to whm.

I've run /scripts/updatenow, /scripts/upcp

I've also re-booted server.

This is the error when trying to start cPanel

Starting cPanel services: execvp: No such file or directory

Ok. the word everyone might have not been 100% accurate.. Still a lot of people are having this issue.

I would like to hear from someone at cpanel about what is going on, it sort of seems like update server are overloaded, but i have no proof....

We only had problems with servers running RH 7.3

All our servers running RH 8.0, 9.0 and RHE updated without a problem

Downgraded from Release version to Stable worked for us.

RH9 here and having the same problem. Even after a reboot and after /scripts/updatenow, /scrupts/upcp still won't restart cpanel services...

Ok here is what I did to solve the problem...

I was logged in as root and i did a server reboot from there ( reboot )

That solved the cpsrvd and it came up

After reboot apache and bind was shown as DOWN on status in WHM but in fact they were up since the websites were avalible from outside...

I restarted chkservd

/etc/rc.d/init.d/chkservd restart

and everything is working right now. I have access to cpanel and all services are up

This worked for me with

WHM 9.1.0 cPanel 9.1.0-S73
RedHat 9 - WHM X v2.1.2

Good luck all
