    Default Asp

Hi once I had a box with cpanel that could parse .asp file extensions, without databases or anything just plain .asp like if the files were regular html, but instead they have the .asp extension, is it possible to do so again? I need this for a customer.

    Thanks a lot

Classic ASP (.asp) is an outdated technology that is no longer supported on cPanel/WHM systems.

ASP.NET (.aspx) can be implemented using mod_mono. However, you should consult an experienced mod_mono administrator if you intend to use it.

Hello, I had someone asking a similar question, however they were referring to something called "Linux ASP"?

There are convinced it comes with the cPanel/WHM package.

Is there some type of handler/mime type that can be entered? Thank you in advance!

mod_mono can be enabled via EasyApache. No other methods of supporting ASP.NET are natively supported at this time.

We used to support mod_gb as a means of supporting classic ASP. However, that project has long been defunct. As a result, support for that module was removed a while ago.
