Assigning dedicated IP via API

When will it be possible to retrieve IP's from a server, and have the API be able to assign a dedicated IP to a shared hosting account (or set it as the reseller shared IP)?

Regarding creating an account with a dedicated IP address, that specific call in particular is available. While you cannot assign a specific IP at this time, the ability to create accounts with dedicated IPs is present:

I have no ETA on when any of the other functionality you mention will become implemented into the APIs.

Is there any way to possibly speed up or incorporate that functionality? Or some way to work the DNS zones for enduser cPanel clients (so they can do it themselves) via the API?


I'm trying to build out a fully automated solution, but some of this stuff can't be done currently

Unfortunately, DNS functionality has not yet been added to our APIs nor do I have an ETA for the addition of such functionality. You can view the feature request for this at:
