Auto-Configure Email Account for Outlook Broken

Server: Linux
cPanel Version: 10.8.1-STABLE-114

When using the 'Auto-Configure Microsoft Outlook® for POP3 Accesss' feature, the account in Outlook is not created. However, if we use the Outlook Express feature the account is created in OE.

It appears the registry key downloaded for Outlook is the same as the one for Outlook Express. The only difference would be the path at the top of each file.

"[HKEY_CURRENT_USER....]"

I have tested this in both FireFox and IE and have not been able to find a fix for this. In addition, another person is unable to use either the Outlook or Outlook express configuration option.

No error messages are shown and it appears everything should be good to go - but no accounts appear in Outlook at all.

Is anybody else seeing similiar issues?

As far as I'm aware the outlook autoconfig only works for outlook versions up to XP, i think microsoft changed the registry location for outlook 2003 and above.

Still works for express though, so if you autoconfig outlook express and then open outlook it will say "New account found, would you like to import it" say yes to that and you should be fine.
