    Default Automate an Additional hostname?

    Hey all

Have a server set up with WHM 11.2.0 cPanel 11.6.0-R15076 and ModernBill 5.2. I am looking for a way... to add a "dev" type hostname to the domain the new client picks.

    Kind of like...

    1) Customer has foo.com as their domain already registered somewhere else... or even being registered new with us.
    2) When foo.com gets setup like normal on the server... it all sets up a foo-com.ourcompany.com that the client can use right away.

Is there a way to do this with just MB and cPanel... or are we going to need something else. I've tried searching for this on both cpanel and MB's forums... but I must be missing my question... cause i can't find anything remotely like this

thanks for any help you might give!

Keep in mind that creating foo-com.ourcompany.com will be subject to the same DNS propagation issues as foo.com.

Here is a link to a thread that discusses something similar: http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=68080
