    Default Autoresponder and bounce message

I setup an auto responder for an address (reminders@example.com) that is not configured as an email account, forwarder, or anything other than an auto responder. When mail is sent to reminders@example.com, the auto response is sent back, but so is a bounce message. That's not the behavior I expected based on this information:

    Note
If you do not create a forwarder or email account with the same address as each auto responder, mail sent to the autoresponder will only be handled by the autoresponder before it is discarded.
    Is this the intended behavior?

No one is going to answer this?
