AutoResponder sequencing

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to set up an auto responder sequence that only sends Monday to Friday.

This is for a long term (1 year) automated list where subscribers get a regular motivational email. I don't want the mail to go out on weekends.

Can the sendmails.php be coded to skip Saturday and Sunday and to always start on a Monday; or
Can the sequence timing be based on the previous mail rather than the subscription date. e.g. 1st message goes out 1 day after subscription
2nd message goes out 2 days after the 1st
3rd message goes out 1 day after the 2nd.

I would appreciate any help you can give me.

You would need to write the PHP script which sends mail from Moday to Friday as there is no inbuilt feature in cPanel to set the autoresponder mail for the particular day.

There is one third party tool "Smarter Autoresponders" available in market. Please check Deliver Smarter Autoresponders With Send Windows. It allows to deliver newsletters only during the days and times you want.

I am not sure if it works on Linux environment or not.
