Do you have the option WHM > Tweak Settings > Allow users to update Awstats from cPanel > enabled?

Which cPanel user skin are you using? If it isn't the x skin, try changing to that.

allow users to update their own stats should have fixed it...if stats haven't run in a few days (on all packages)..I'd definately recommend doing the basics... make sure cpanellogd will actually run via /scripts/runstatsonce .. if it dies with a buttload of perl module errors and doesn't fork properly in the background, fix that...make sure you're running perl 5.8.7, if not, use the installer on layer1.cpanel.net ... then /usr/local/cpanel/bin/checkperlmodules
then /scripts/upcp for good measure, and might as well force install Scalar::Util with /scripts/realperlinstaller --force Scalar::Util
runstatsonce should now fork properly, perhaps that will solve your issue...if not, perhaps you should consider filing a ticket
