Awstats new version in cPanel

I'm currently using cpanel 10 and thinking of upgrading to ver 11 but i'm little worried about awstats since it comes included into cpanel i hope cpanel 11 has awstats included with the latest version of it AWStats 6.6 final

any info about this ?

but can i update awstats of cpanel 10 ?

i need to update the one configured with cpanel not installing a new one

so that when any new account is created, it comes with awstats automatically installed and configured

There is only one awstats, the cPanel one...unless you installed your own....

AWstats is Advanced Web Statistics

When you update from 10 to 11, there should be no change in the way that AWStats is run on your server. It will still work for every account and have stats run for every new account that you add.

what i'm thinking at the moment is updating awstats without updating cpanel

but need cpanel's awstats updated so it works automatically like it is now

because if i install awstats separately i will have to add a awstats.pl file for every domain manually
