    Question AwStats Not Updating

On one of the domains on my server, Awstats has stopped updating, even when I press the manual "update" button.

To resolve it I have already tried the following:

    1. Turn off awstats in &Tweak settings&
    2. in ssh run /scripts/upcp
    3. Turn on awstats in &Tweak settings&
    4. in ssh run /scripts/upcp

    and also

    /scripts/runlogsnow

    Any ideas?

    Matt.

I am new to this so I am going to ask a stupid question: how do I find the manual update button? My AWStats have not been updated in several days. I have asked my server to help me and all they did was email Cpanel and ask them to fix the problem. I have not seen any results and this problem has been ongoing for about 10 days now. My server has updated my stats a couple of times, but they won't do it anymore.

    Thanks,
    Terry

    Seeing this error:
Error: Couldn't open config file "domain.com.conf" nor "awstats.conf" after searching in path "/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin,/root/tmp/awstats/,/etc/opt/awstats,/etc/awstats,/etc,/usr/local/etc/awstats": No such file or directory

    - Did you use correct config parameter ?
Example: If your config file is awstats.mysite.conf, use -config=mysite
    - Did you create your config file 'awstats.upload.serverseed.com.conf' ?
If not, you can run "/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/tools/configure.pl"
from command line, or create it manually.

Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).
A file by that name is located in:

    /usr/local/cpanel/etc/awstats.conf

It looks like that is the template used to generate the conf when you edit stuff in WHM, so simply copying it wont work without replacing some stuff with actual values.

    Default awstats to allow update

    Hello,

When we want to add update button in awstats to allow update from browser just add this to the conf file
    AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser=1
The cong file is in /home/username/tmp/awstats/awstats.yourdomain.com.conf

    regards,
    David

Default awstats not updating and update button is not present

Please follow these steps to fix this issue

    1 ) vi /home/username/tmp/awstats/awstats.yourdomain.com.conf

    AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser=1

    2) whm==> tweak settings===> allow users to update from cpanel

    3) The Awstats can be updated by using the script /scripts/runweblogs accountname

If the issue is still exists please run the following command from the shell

    /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/english/webalizer -N 10 -D /home/username/tmp/webalizer/dns_cache.db -R 250 -p -n domain.com -o /home/username/tmp/webalizer /usr/local/apache/domlogs/domain.com

    This should fix the issue.
