backend mailbox create/delete hook

Is there a backend hook (perl, mysql entry, whatever) for when a user creates/deletes a mailbox? (or forward/alias, etc)

I need this to modify a seperate database that contains a list of all the mailboxes of all the hosted domains (it's for the Postini user list).

I can't find anything in the docs, or search on these forums talking about it.. I might not have searched for the correct keywords, sorry if this is a common topic..
