has anyone got a more expansive explanation for these?

It is recommended that you do not allow any of these processes to run on your servers. You can also add trusted users who will not have these processes killed.

I am not sure exactly what each of these do, but I do know they arent nessacarily good. If you are experiencing problems then it might be a good idea to try killing these.
