Backup restore error on Putty ?

Hi, Guys,

I am having a prob. with this error - I have followed the directions in this post - Can not copy account from another server

but I am still getting a error

Sorry, the copy failed. Unable to find the cpanel user file

how would I untar and/or fix this error???

My premissions are set to 644 could this be the prob. or is there something else that this could be???
