Backup suggestion

I'd like to see more options in the WHM backup settings. EG I want to backup my websites once per week (as they don't change that often) BUT I do want to backup my Databases daily as they are constantly changing I'm sure that others would want other things backed up at aother times as well?

You could just write a bash/perl/python script to handle your database backups while having cpanel backup everything else once a week.

I was only posting a "suggestion" as stated in the title, or is this not the right place to provoke ideas etc.? Logically though more and more sites are going database driven so I personally think it's a good idea - if it's off topic or in the wrong place then I appologise.

My post wasn't an attack, but rather a solution for you until/if cPanel implements your suggestions.

Gimme Delphi and a PC and I can write anything, put me on on a Unix box and I can stare at it's pretty colours.... Otherwise I wouldn't need cpanel or the likes I'm just learning and am scared of killing my system!!
