    Default Backups

Is it possible to have backups so say on "friday" i can choose to restore backups from "tuesday" or "wednesday" or any other day up to a certain amount of days set

as i have the daily , weekly , monthly backup set but yesterday a customer wanted a backup from wednesday and the daily backup is always a day old and the weekly was last week

so is there any perl or php script that could do this ?
