Bad Paths?

I'm still not getting any of my jpgs. or gifs. to show up on my website.
should these files be in a particular folder? I have been keeping all in public_html.
What is the correct path for these files?

They have to be in public_html, but beyond that just make sure you do the correct path to them in your HTML files, /home/username/public_html/image.jpg

You're calling your images from the server path instead of the URL ie.

/home/wildear/public_html/1wildart.gif

Should be just:

1wildart.gif

OR

http://YourDomain.com/1wildart.gif

You need to use http when calling images or other files NOT the server path.

http://YourDomain.com = /home/wildbear/public_html

Hi,

You can place your image files anywhere under root directory. But you have to specify a correct image path in your codings.

Now you need to do the same with text links on partyanimals.html

http://domain.com/home/wildear/public_html/gallery.html

should probably be

http://domain.com/gallery.html
