Server
RH Linux 7.2
Apache 1.3.26
CPanel 4.0.9-50
I have noticed that after rebooting my server, bandmin seems to start IPTABLES and a PID runs for IPTABLES and drives the load average very high (about 2.0 to 3.0) and it seems to never come down. Normal load is less than 1.0 on this server.
I copied &bandminstart& to backup and removed &bandminstart& and then killed the previous PIDs and the load average comes down. But, when I copy bandminstart back in and reboot, the same thing happens.
Additionally, CPanel emails me the following message....
To: root@ns.myservername.net
Subject: Cron &root@ns& /usr/local/bandmin/bandmin
iptables: Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?)

Anyone know what's happening??
